It's time to refocus on the Month of Sundays project after being dazzled by all the beautiful banners in Deep Ellum over the holidays. Here we go!
In an earlier walk down Main Street, we focused on the work on the north side of Main between Pryor and Malcolm X, down to Harlowe MXM's courtyard. Just looking to the north, though, would have deprived us of the pleasure of the work on the south side of the street!
Retracing our steps a bit, we see murals surrounding a parking lot across from the Neon Kitten. The most impressive is this work by Hatziel Flores (@hatziel) on the wall of Hawkers Asian street food (link).
Now that we've picked up the street art on this section of Main, let's go east to the intersection at Malcolm X. You know you are there when you see the Deep Ellum sign. We noted the art around the intersection in this post - we're going straight east down the street today.

Across the street, at the back of the parking for Maracas Cocina, this ramp is nicely decorated -
Walk down Main to the east side of The N9nes bar, and you'll see these classic Deep Ellum murals by @theHouseofPannek.
A little further east we saw this simple mural on the side of Niwa, across the street from the AllGood Cafe and Hattie B's at the intersection of Main and Walton.
Go north around the corner on Walton, and you'll find the bull and dragon that we mentioned in an earlier post.
South on Walton you can see this geometric work on the side of Hattie B's by @nathanbrown77, which is echoed on the patio wall.
Back on Main, still heading east, you'll come across Bobaddiction on the south side, which has "I Can't Stand My Own Mind" art by Dan Colcer on the west and a sunshine panda on the east side of the building.
Across the street on Main is Terry Black's Barbecue. Across the parking lot on the wall of Texas Brand Bank is this mural by Daniel Barojas (@r5imaging).
Across from Terry Black's, you'll see "Deep Ellum History" by Daniel Barojas on the wall of Texas Brand Bank.
