Clover Street / Blues Alley 1

In our previous post, we finished our trip down Commerce Street from west to east ending up on Exposition. This is close to where we started our Month of Sundays project. I promised that we would see the murals on Clover Street (aka Blues Alley), and we're going to do that now!
The easternmost point of Clover Street is its termination on Murray Street, which we saw even before the Month of Sundays started. You'll know you're on Clover Street by the rail tracks in the middle of the pavement. The first mural truly on Clover depicts a cowboy riding his dogies.
Keep going west! The next mural you'll see is "Water Tower" by DG and RP (Ricardo Paniagua), a block down at Clover and Hall. You can see a smaller street art mural peeking out at the lower left.
Keep going! Next you'll see this work by Kuter Ec and the EC CREW at the southeast corner of the intersection of Clover and Walton.
On the northwest corner of the same intersection, you'll see a faux garden apartment by E. Allen Warren.
Keep going west on Clover! About midway to Malcolm X Blvd, you'll notice the big "Welcome to Dallas" mural we saw last post. On Clover, on the back of that same building you'll see this group work from @noboundarieskrew, @texmoton, and others.
And around the next corner the collaboration "We Stay Hungry" by @joeskilz52 and others, as well as the colorful Roll Up door.
Now we're at the intersection of Clover and Malcolm X, which is where the murals of Blues Alley start when approaching from the east.
First you'll see this collaboration showing Chadwick Murray (by Haylee Ryan, @hayleeryan) and Wanda Sykes (by LaShonda Cooks, @shondasart) in a matrix of musical cactus by Will Heron (@wheron).
Just a little further and you'll see Big Mama Thornton as depicted by Ebony Lewis.
And just around the corner, Ma Rainey by Michelle Dekkers.
Next building down is a mural by Frank Campagna showing Johnny Winter (right) and Sam Myers (left on overhead door).
Keep going west - Ray Charles by Sanah Brown-Bowers is right next door.
And next to Ray, around a slight bend, are these two - "Deep Elm, You Tell Em Im Blue" showing Sister Rosetta Tharpe by Desiree Vaniecia, and "Black Swan Music Shop" depicting R.T. Ashford by J.D. Moore.
